When you create a note definition, you might wish to document it for yourself or for the purposes of distributing it. Each note definition has a tab named "documentation".
For the default definitions, this is already populated with some information. Here you can put some free form text as well as select predefined tags. You can modify what appears in the list of tags by clicking file->Edit Tags
Filtering the note definitions listing by tags
You can filter by tags by right clicking on the column that says "definition name"
In the filter editor, just create a filter saying that the tags column must contain the tag you choose
This is not case sensitive but does need to be typed manually. If the "tags" field is not available, then you need to
